The DDS238-VAP is a single-phase two-wire AC active energy meter with integrated water pump protection functions. Designed for automatic pump control, it monitors overvoltage, overcurrent, and undercurrent conditions (note: undervoltage protection is not included). The device automatically cuts off the water pump when the water tower is full (current rises) or when the pipe runs dry (current drops), helping to reduce water waste and prevent pump motor overheating due to prolonged operation. It features a backlit LCD displaying total active energy (kWh), real-time current (A), voltage (V), and active power (W). Additional functions include built-in lightning protection, adjustable overvoltage and current limits, delay power-on, selectable auto or manual reclosing modes, programmable pump recycle time, and load disconnection on power failure. With high accuracy (Class 1 for energy), wide operating temperature range, and mechanical life of β₯100,000 cycles, the DDS238-VAP is a reliable solution for water pump management and energy measurement.
