Product Introduction

The DDS238-1 ZN is a single-phase two-wire AC active energy meter designed for residential, utility, and industrial applications. It operates with an external current transformer (CT), available in solid core or split core versions, and supports a wide voltage range of 85-300V with a rated current of 5(100)A at 50/60Hz. The meter features bi-directional measurement of total active energy, including reverse active energy accumulated into the total. It displays real-time voltage, current, active power, power factor, frequency, import/export active energy, reactive power, and impulse constant on an LCD with keypad control. An RS485 communication port with MODBUS-RTU protocol enables remote reading. Additional features include a pulse LED with optical coupling isolated pulse output for metering verification, and a long press (10 seconds) of the button to reset the electricity consumption for a specific period. With high stability, high overload capability, low power loss, and compact size, this meter mounts easily on a 35mm DIN rail.
