Question:Why can't the SATA SSD be recognized after installation?
Answer: When using an SSD for the first time, it needs to be formatted and partitioned first. You can use "Disk Management Tool" to format and partition the SSD, and then use it in "Windows Explorer".
Question:Why is the actual capacity of SSD smaller than the advertised capacity?
Answer:
1.The default setting of our SSD is unallocated /without partition
2. The Manufacturer is using Flash memory decimal arithmetic: 1 MB = 1000KB, 1G = 1000 MB Calculated, and the operating system is using binary arithmetic: 1 MB = 1024KB, 1 GB = 1024 MB; So there are some differences between display capacity and nominal capacity of flash memory products (around 5~7% less).
Question: How can I know if this product is compatible with my computer?
Answer: For a 2.5" SATA SSD, as long as your computer has a SATA interface or previously used either a mechanical hard drive or a solid-state drive, you can use this SSD.
